                                                               WELCOME

We would like to welcome our new and existing neighbors and hope to see you at our next meeting .

                                                      ANNOUNCEMENTS

HOA MEETING SATURDAY, MAY 3RD 2025!

We welcome all homeowners to join us for our bi-annual HOA meeting. The meeting will be SATURDAY MAY 3RD, 2025 in our common area halfway up the street! We look forward to seeing you all there!

***THIS MEETING WILL SPECIFICALLY BE TO DISCUSS ROAD REPAIR/WIDENING AND TO MAKE A DISCUSSION***

We also have an open board spot for a Secretary. Please consider throwing your hat in the ring to join the board and help shape our community.

REMINDERS:

  • Please use your driveway as your first option for parking. Only park in the street if parking in your driveway isn't feasible.
  • Cars should be parked with the flow of traffic. It's against both the HOA policy and South Carolina state law to park facing the wrong direction.
  • Do not park on the grass.  Please inform your visitors that there should be no parking on the grass. This includes pulling fully onto the grass as well as pulling the passenger side tire on the grass.
  • The HOA reserves the right to have any vehicle violating a parking covenant towed at owner's expenses.

Porch Pirates

Let’s look out for each other as best you can. Some ideas to help prevent this are using amazon lockers, requiring a signature for packages, or using a security system.

IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING

  • Reporting Violations/Complaints: All reports of violations or complaint need to be emailed to the HOA email address, along with pictures of violations. We cannot address or submit warnings to homeowners without photographic evidence of the violations. ALL EMAILS REMAIN CONFIDENTIAL, AND ARE ONLY DISCUSSED AMONG BOARD MEMBERS.
  • Please email us at thepreserveatmountaincreek@gmail.com, if you need to contact the board for any reason.

PARKING ON THE STREET

We board members take great pride in working with our neighbors and endeavor to assist in any way we can. It is for this reason; we amended the bylaws to allow parking on the streets. In the past, many neighbors complained about inadequate parking space in their garage or driveway. To help with this situation, we now allow parking on the street.

Vehicles parked on the street are STRICTLY AT OWNERS’ RISK. We will not be responsible for any damages to any vehicle parked on the street. Although we are facilitating you by allowing you to park on the street, we are pleading to you to use your garage and driveway and only park on the street if absolutely necessary.

Parking on the street can:

· Block other neighbor’s driveway.

· Make reversing from the driveway onto the road difficult.

· Prevent or restrict access for emergency vehicles.

· Create a safety hazard and heighten the risks of your vehicle getting hit by a vehicle that is trying to pull in at the front or at the rear of you.

We are greatly concerned with this situation as it could make it difficult for an emergency vehicle to get through the neighborhood. It is imperative that everyone cooperates as we implore you to park in your garage and driveway as much you are able to.

Please note

ALL VEHICLES PARKED ON THE STREET ARE PARKED STRICTLY AT OWNER’S RISK AND THE HOA WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO ANY VEHICLE PARKED ON THE STREET.
